Squalane

Squalane is a 100% natural oil that can be used to moisturize skin and hair.  It is made from the hydrogenation of squalene, a substance that is naturally found in the skin. This biological il can be used as a moisturizer to soothe dry skin, as a hair treatment to combat frizz, and as a nature's sunblock.

Many people use Squalane as a moisturizer to soothe dry skin because of its ability to seal in moisture while also restoring the natural lipid barrier of the skin. Regular use can also boost collagen production, resulting in firmer skin. 

Squalane can also be used as a hair treatment to combat frizz and flyaways. When applied to the hair, it penetrates the hair shaft to protect it from moisture loss and smoothes out the cuticle.
